This concert is a rare opportunity to hear incredible global music - from Norwegian melodic "kulning" (goat-herding calls), to Irish mouth music and best of all, some newly discovered music from the Republic of Georgia.
Voci di Sorelle (Italian for "Voices of Sisters") is San Antonio's premier women's vocal ensemble and the only one of its kind in Texas. The group is renowned for its hauntingly exquisite performances that showcase the power, versatility, and beauty of women's voices.
Voci di Sorelle has released three compact discs, Enchanté (2006), Magnificat (2008) and newly released "TRAVELIN' ON: American Hymns & Spirituals".
